giza-dev software package provides Lightweight scientific plotting library (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install giza-dev
giza-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the giza-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep giza-dev *
You will get with giza-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
